Terms, conditions and privacy.
- “Business day” refers to weekdays, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and federally designated holidays.
- “Client” means the person or entity requesting our services.
- “Company” refers to Perfect Translation LLC.
- “Parties” refers to both our company, its translators and the client.
- “Special formatted document” refers to any document, provided by the client, which, when translated, needs to retain the original format. For example, birth certificates, marriage certificates, transcripts, academic certificates or diplomas, among others, and other documents that require tables, graphics, stamps or logos.
- “Standard document” is any document provided by the client that does not require any special formatting.
- Our translators translate in standard formats, unless the client requests special formatting.
- “Deliverable” means all documents translated for clients under this agreement.
Services and Delivery times
The documents will be translated according to the client’s instructions. These documents must be legible copies, with editable formats (in case the client requests translations with special formats). The client must provide written instructions and a telephone number or e-mail address to ask questions if the subject of the document is unclear, and must also indicate whether the Translation should be notarized or have an apostille, as well as delivery or packaging instructions.
After receiving the request, we will send the client a quote with the price of the translation. Once the price and payment terms are accepted and/or fulfilled, we will send a confirmation number by e-mail. To modify the content of the document, the client should contact us within 24 hours after the order is completed.
Prices are based on the complexity of the document, the number of words on a standard US-size page (letter: 8.5×11 inch, A4: 8.27×11 inch), and the delivery time requested by the client, e.g., standard service (2 to 5 days) or rush service (same day), depending on the complexity of the document. The delivery time is counted from the date on which the client has completed the request or from the next business day if the request is completed by 5:00 p.m. The delivery time for requests completed by 5:00 p.m. is counted from the next business day. Delivery times for requests completed on Fridays at 5:00 p.m. will be counted from the next business day.
Our translators will do their best to deliver the final product within the deadline set by the client, as long as no questions arise to clarify concepts or formats.
If the client requests a certified translation, our company will provide a certificate with a stamp and letterhead stating that the translation has been done by a competent and experienced translator. This certification is accepted by most federal (including citizenship and immigration services, USCIS), state, local agencies, courts of law etc., however, certification requirements vary and the company does not guarantee that this certificate will be accepted for all purposes.
If the client requests a software-assisted translation instead of a standard translation, the client understands that the quality of the translation will be inferior to the standard translation.
The client should contact us as soon as possible if is not satisfied with the final product, to correct any errors in the translation or add attachments to the translation or certificate.
Payment terms and conditions
The client may pay for our services by credit or debit card, check, PayPal or by any other method or terms agreed upon with the company’s representative.
The client must make full payment before the final product is shipped. The company may hold the final product until payment has been made.
Payments terms and conditions for services rendered to companies must be negotiated prior completion with our representative.
Prices
Pricing is based on word count, complexity, and turnaround time. Please contact us if you require notarization, apostille, special mailing instructions, certified hard copies, or special formatting.
Delivery times
Turnaround time for a standard 5-page certified translation is approximately 3 business days.
If the client needs the translation within 24 hours (urgent), there will be an extra charge of $10.00 per page.
Delivery times will be counted from the date on which the client has completed the order or from the next business day if the order is completed by 5:00 pm. Delivery times for requests completed on Fridays at 5:00 p.m. will be counted from the next business day.
Risk distribution
The company shall not be liable for the inadmissibility of any translation made by us under this contract, therefore, it will not reimburse the client the amount of the payment if the translation was not accepted for any reason beyond the company’s control.
The company does not guarantee and is not responsible that the original document sent by the client, is accurate, legitimate and has not been forged. The client assumes full responsibility for the accuracy and legitimacy of such document.
Other terms
Any controversy, disagreement or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, as well as the interpretation of the” Parties” performance, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to principles of conflicts of laws. Exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute relating to this contract shall be Van Buren County, Michigan.
Client understands that if there is an outstanding balance due to Perfect Translation LLC and does not contact our representative to establish payment terms, the account may be sent to a collection agency.
The terms of delivery of translations are valid only within the United States.
How we collect and use your information
The information we collect at Perfect Translation LLC is used to improve the quality of the services we provide to our clients. The company does not share or sell such information in any manner other than as set forth above without prior consent, except in cases where we believe, in good faith, that we are legally required to disclose it.
Our website uses a service provided by Google, Inc. called Google Analytics. This service allows us to measure and analyze the interaction of users and our website by means of files called “Cookies”. The information generated by these cookies, including your IP address, will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA where it will be saved.
Credit card information
Perfect Translation LLC does not disclose or share your credit card information. Each time you make a payment, it is routed to the appropriate processing center, where secure web pages are always used for credit or debit card transactions.
Security of our website
Our system is protected by firewalls that allow you to use our site securely. The devices where we store your information are also protected and only authorized network administrators have access to them. This access is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
